Let's Play a Real Game: Pick a number between 0 and 100, whoever’s number is closest to half of the average wins

Hello, my friends.

You pick a number between 0 and 100, which could be an integer or a decimal.

0, 0.1, 3, 3.14, 23, 44, 32.1212, 99, 100, etc

Whoever’s number is closest to half the average wins.

Example:

Suppose there are 5 participants, and their numbers are [10, 12.5, 20, 25.5, 50], so the sum is 118, then the average number is 23.6, then the half of the average is 11.8, so the winner number is 12.5!

Rewards

I will gift the winning player a year of Medium Membership, worth $50.

If in the first round, there are multiple winners, then they will play another round until there is only one last winner.

Privacy

To increase the transparency of the game, I will publish the names of all participants and their chosen numbers after the game is over.

In this way, we can ensure that each participant is an independent Medium user who is not related to me.
